I have an app on my phone that takes my Facebook status for the past 5 years and tells me what I as doing. It seems that this week for 4 years in a row, was spent with the flu of some sort. It also happened to be that same week for us in real life.... Starting with Baby.
Grayson came in to sleep with me and Dallas and after a while I left and went to the couch. He followed. I got him settled. Then he got restless. I turned on a low light just in time to reflexively respond to catch vomit that only a mom responds to. He was stripped down. Wiped off and a air mattress was filled so vomit baby and I could sleep on it and get some rest.
The vomit was 8 hours. At first it was every 15 minutes. Then it slowed down when the dry heaves came along. It was so sad. But thankful, Grayson got the hang of my barf bucket pretty well. After about 12 hour he was doing good.
About 12 hours later we were sitting at the dinner table and Ty took a drink and I noticed something not ok.... and I was right. Hands were catching vomit pretty dang quickly. Got him cleaned up and put in my bed . He was vomiting every 15 minutes for a while. The hardest for him is sitting up and bending and then getting into the barf bucket .
It was a long night. Mom woke up in the morning and by noon was down for the count. within 12 hours dad was out for the night. It was a hard hard week. But we made it. We were able to make our obligations for a Christmas party. And, we participated in this weeks activity happily.

The Aftermath

The aftermath of the storm has been horrendous but seems to be hitting a good spot.
Kinda.
Tuesday was HORRIBLE with vomit every ten-20 minutes. From other reports of this nasty bug recipients we were lucky he was dehydrated enough that it wasn't coming from both ends. HOORAY for us! He was snowed from the seizure drugs, snowed from the seizure and vomit made for one sad little boy.
He went to bed about 7 and slept till 3 am.
Wednesday at 3 am Ty woke up and said mom it is time for me to go down stairs. I got up and was realizing that I wasn't feeling so hot so Dallas went while Grayson slept. I went down when Grayson got up, made some breakfast and realized it was NOT going to stay down. Dallas went BACK downstairs and held the fort down till about 8 when Grays was hungry. I dealt with all that stuff and we slept off and on till about 11. Took a anxiety pill and TADA all better. Ty was MUCH better and we ventured out later in the day.
The adventure went south QUICKLY. We got about 15 minutes into it and Ty got super anxious. He started just repeating " We go home now." We got in the store and we were the only ones there and I tried to get him distracted. Didn't work. For the whole time we were in the store he was scared, sad and anxious. We got home and got him settled. D went and played a lacrosse game so I did the honors of putting them to bed and he did great. He likes the idea that he gets to sleep with us but in his own bed. I have even asked him if he wants to go into our bed and he says " No. I sleep right here in my mickey mouse bed in Your room." So far, the right choice for us.
Today MUCH better. Ty was up at 6:30 but Grayson had a blah night. Ty asked for food, ate a LOT of food. Took his meds. Was a happy camper and seemed back to normal. Grays was pretty normal. Not a great napper.
Tonight.... Dallas has the aches. He has slept since 5 and just says he doesn't feel good. I am guessing we didn't miss the boat and we are in for a long day tomorrow. I hope if I am going to get it I get it on Sunday when he doesn't have to work. But for now, hand washing central.

Sickness is in the air
A few days last week we noticed that we had a sick kid. There was just something off about the Tyke. We noticed a REALLY high fever and I generally NEVER take his temperature. A NICU habit of worrying made it so that I had to slowly put the thermometer away and NEVER touch it again. Instead I went by the old wives tale of just feeling hot.
Here is Proof that he stops for a few minutes...

( Not sure what is up with the last picture. I am to lazy to go fix it.) Also we don't know what the virus is but it is there and we are hoping it goes away SOON
With new baby stuff around I went ahead and whipped out the old thermometer. 99.9 was the result. I added some Motrin and a hug and a night with mom and we thought we were good. The next day he was somewhat better but the fever still hung around. Come Friday I opted to take Tyler the Professor ( what he currently calls himself) into the most amazing pediatrician ever.
Dr. Marissa saw us and tried SUPER hard to get the exam done without damaging little Brown and getting Big Brown to not cry. She hates making him cry. We got what we needed and sure enough he had a fever and a small cough. She is sure it is a virus, and if he tells us his ears hurt to dose him up with an antibiotic.
Seems he felt better a few nights in a row and has not had a Fever since Friday but he has had a cough that seems to get way worse as the night goes on. He is super sleepy in the day time and as been uncharacteristically climbing on my bed and laying down with a few of his friends.
Here is Proof that he stops for a few minutes...

Round #3

The last 3 months have been such a hard haul on my immune system. It has not been pretty. It has made me pretty miserable. The positive sides of being pregnant have been feeling him kick, seeing him and getting lots of peeks but it has wreaked havoc elsewhere.
With off and on cold sores since November we have had a steady script for valtrex and zovirax in the house. I don't generally get them unless I am sick with a fever or bad cold or infection but being pregnant I get them ALL the time. ( I got them with Tyler. It was actually how we figured out I was pregnant) So that one didn't surprise us. This time it has been the strep and the coughing and the HORRIBLE lungs.
This last batch I will get better and be fine for ONE whole week and then I am back on my death bed. Literally. I can't function. I feel the need to sleep ALL the time. After the First round I was given a HIGH dose of antibiotics and this time another round of a different kind. My OB gave me more meds to stop the coughing and mucinex to get my boogies to stop. The Family Doc gave me the cough liquid stuff so I could get it to stop. He said my throat is on fire. Literally. It feels like shards of glass because it is shred to pieces. The vomiting has ripped open my throat so when I swallow it hurts. He said he has only seen a throat like that in a bulimic and he would hate to be my dentist right now.
Round #3 has been started and with the cough meds, the pill and some phenergan I think there has been a decrease in my coughing. I know I haven't thrown up since this morning. Here is to hoping that we start feeling better.
Once the voice is back I will be feeling even BETTER.
On a FUNNY Tyler note :
Tyler went to see the musical Annie at school. When I asked him what he did there he said they sang him songs so he "clapped and cheered." So I sang him a song from there. While I was seeing he asked me if I was "all done yet?" I guess a hoarse voice isn't the best.

Germies and more
Last week we mentioned that we had some bugs from preschool. Boy did they multiple. It has for sure caused a HUGE chaos in our house. When mom gets sick no one knows what to do. Including me!
D has had a WHOLE month of being sick and we were just getting everything back on track. He had one last test to finish at the hospital and then we would be all done! Tyler got sick and that didn't last horribly long. He seems to have bounced back pretty well. I am guessing that the bug wasn't exactly the same that we passed to each other.
On Saturday I felt fine. Saturday night I woke in the middle of the night with a scratchy throat. Sunday I felt really yucky and come Monday I wondered if I was sporting a strep throat. Ty was SUPER restless on Monday so we opted to have a pic pic ( Ty's word for Picnic!) and we headed to the park. It worked well for me because he plays so well on his own at the park.
As we sat at the park I realized just how rotten I REALLY felt. As Ty was walking across the drawbridge he fell and fell OFF and landed pretty hard. It was a good thump. I freaked and ran across the park and scooped him up. It was pretty scary. I thought for sure he landed on his head.
He was fine. But I wasn't. I felt HORRIBLE.
Tuesday was D's appointment and I sat with him throughout it. I was sitting there and realized we had scheduled Ty's birthday party on Saturday. We have been telling him that he was going to have a party in 2 Saturdays. Since I am not feeling well and the house needs a HUGE dejunking.
I went to bed feeling pretty horrible last night and woke up feeling even worse. Tyler got up around 4 am and I knew that I really needed to get moving. I tried to convince Tyler that he should go back to sleep but he told me his Tummy was hungry. When I told him it was still night he laid with me whispering " hungry, hungry." So we got up.
I tried super hard to be awake and feel all better but after about 2 hours I couldn't stay awake any more. It was a BAD night. D was nice enough to go down with Ty and let me sleep. I got up in time to get him dressed and then I headed back to bed. Sitting up makes my ears feel like they are plugged and underwater and me feel SUPER dizzy.
When Ty got home I decided to call the doc and get in. We took off and went to get checked. Sure enough the bug I have is a sinus infection and a ear infection. I feel horrible. At least the meds will kick in. I just hope they hurry and kick in my house gets cleaned.
Stay tuned for the party store!

Is August over?

The month of August started out really blah.
REALLY blah.
Quite frankly the summer has kind of sucked. Like a lot. But the Month of August so far has taken the cake. I hope to wake up and have it be September 1st... ( literally, cause T is back in school then)
So the ONE date that I got to go on with Dallas started by us realizing that we had failed yet MISERABLY at getting pregnant and ended up with Dallas having a gal bladder attack. An attack that has lasted 3 weeks, an Insta care visit, and ER visit, 2 outpatient scans and a general surgeon visit. It has resulted in Dallas first surgery EVER in his WHOLE life, in which we have come to the conclusion that he is a HUGE baby when it comes to pain. He will even admit that he has a HUGE pain issue.
As this crappy week has progressed I, YEP ME!!, the mom of the year decided it was the best time to finally just tell Ty he was not a baby and he goes to the bathroom in the toilet. In which we have had 3 wet underpants and one poop pants which resulted in carpets having to be cleaned, a bath taken and Clorox ALL over the house and random poop pieces picked up. Not to mention holding his arms down because he had put his hands in his pants when he realized he pooped and started to cry.
After several happy trips to the potty which Dallas attended, we had no pee success in the potty. On the way BACK down the stairs Dallas grabbed the spare cups that I had been meaning to take down. As Ty got off the stairs I turned around and D was falling down them.
The said cups in hand ended up on the landing at the bottom, broken in LOTS of different large pieces while my broken hubby was sitting on the floor. In horrific pain. I let him sit there so that he could gather himself together. ( I fell off the deck steps a few months ago and I was half embarrassed and half in so much pain I could DIE!) I took out the trash and started to clean the glass around him so we could get him up. In the mean time we realized his leg was bleeding. A LOT.
We got the glass up and Dallas up and the wound was big. He needed stitches according to his wife doctor ( who is generally RIGHT) and I called my sister for help. I needed someone who was able to put Ty to bed, deal with his meds and understand without frustrating him for his night routine. She was perfect.
She let him watch a movie with her and then lady right down next to her and fell asleep. I knew she loved it and I knew he loved it. Off we went to the Insta care.
Because of the location of his "owie" and the location of the surgery owies he couldn't lay down in order for this to really work for anyone so it was kinda a pain. But he is now the proud owner of 7 stitches in his upper leg and on the good side that he could lay down on because of the pain from the surgery.
It puts a damper on my idea of a laid back Birthday and temple trip I wanted to take.
BOO
Hopefully I can at least get some shrimp scampi!
Surgery
For Dallas that is!! I know, what a turn of events. Usually it is the little tyke and not the big one. The pain that was making Dallas sick turned out to be his Gall Bladder. I totally called it about 2 weeks before (and a few hundred bucks of tests and copays) the doctors would even talk to us. And if I hadn't been such a pain and just got him an appointment with a general surgeon we would STILL be waiting.
So he got an xray when we went to the insta- care ( the IHC monopoly version of urgent care.) the day after he got sick. He was then given an ultrasound and it was negative. The next day he ended up in the ER. It was a Friday but I was so mad that no one would take us serious that I had already called a General surgeon's office and made an appointment. He couldn't see us for a week and in between that time we were given a Hida scan and results were that it needed to be out.
So Monday morning we got a sitter for Tyler and we left the house around 7:30 am and he was in surgery around 9. He has never had surgery before so him waking up was really hard. The doc said he did well in surgery and that the gal bladder was in need of coming out. Gave me the instructions and then I Waited.... and waited some more.
Once back to the room Dallas was not loving that he still hurts. The pain is different so I guess it was a good thing to get it out.
Tyler did great. He LOVES the neighbors house. He loves Payton and Logan and the girls. I swear he would live there if I would let him. It is nice to have such amazing neighbors and amazing friends in this ward.
Tomorrow is a new day. Dallas is currently asleep, Ty is currently asleep and I am enjoying the sounds of nothing. Tomorrow is a gonna be filled with errands, slavery and love!

Collage Sunday
Saturday I woke up with that familiar tingle of a cold sore and realized that I did NOT feel well. Not at all. My glands were swollen and I felt horrible. Sunday was way worse. Dallas let me sleep in ( which I TOTALLY totally appreciated) and as the day went on Ty really needed a distraction. ( OK Lacrosse was on so his movies were off! He was getting more bored.)

Crayons were laid out. ( cool huh.. yep they come with the kit and work amazing for a kid that doesn't grip great)

And the cow was picked! Who knew... a cow! (
After the cow was "done up" he had to SHOW dad. And off he went.

We started our pig and got it all primed up and ready for collaging. ( when I ran spell checker it suggested that Collagen was a better word.. haha)
See Mom... a Piggy

And then.... his attention span was GONE

But where did he go!?

All in a days work.
All in a days work .
We got a new kit ( the same people make the sock puppets and the paper plate bugs.. and a bunch of others that we don't own..YET) ( and I lied.. the Sock puppets are from a different company. My bad.) the other day so I thought this would be a perfect chance to get it out. This one is a collage kit. Meaning I didn't have to cringe when it wasn't done " Just right!" ( not that I would really care that the EYES are on the BACK of the bug... or on Tyler as a "sssssker")

P.S. Yes Ty wears clothes. Yes Ty owns pants. No he is not potty trained. Yes he has a messy face. Yes I am a mom of the year....

Um, can I have the wipes.... AGAIN
In the world of smart phones and Ipads and key less cars why is it that Huggies or anyone else for that matter has YET to figure out that they need Yummy smelling wipes to help a mom out?
Picture this: Ty acts off. Really off. Wake up one morning and after a brief time he has a dirty diaper. BLOW OUT! Like infant blow out.. up his back. EVERYWHERE!
Lucky for me my dad left me a carpet machine cause I needed it.
I was also not smart and had decided since we were going through WAY less diapers to buy generic instead of my trusty Huggies and I didn't know that by going by the weight on the Walmart ones that I would be in BIG trouble. You see, in walmart diapers it says Ty is a size 3-4. Yes... my almost 5 year old is LITTLE. In fact we went to the doctor because he was so not feeling well that his Doc. mentioned our little weight problem.
He wasn't allowed to go to school on that Tuesday ( and then the bus thing happened on Wed!) but he went through more than ten diapers in a day. Poor kid. His butt was not a happy camper. I do have to say, my dad's carpet machine saved my life!
Ty had Rotovirus. I was up to me elbows in poop and thank goodness it passed in a few days!
( sorry.. no pictures!)
*side note: This was last week but we like to have a record of what is going on in our world. Again... I had "issues" last week"

Christmas with Tyler
After 4 Christmas mornings with Tyler you would THINK I would realize that he just doesn't care once he opens that ONE gift he really really likes. For him it seems any book or movie will about do him in leaving the rest of the gifts for Dad and I to open for him.
We decided that like last year, we would buy one big gift and then little gifts. BUT the big gift, which I think should take a lot of thought into getting the "right one", couldn't be so obvious that he doesn't play or open the other stuff. ( like last years ball pit he wouldn't get out of) We decided not to put together his big gift till after he opened the rest.
Overall, he was OK with opening presents but he was even better once a book and a movie was opened. The big gift didn't phase him until it was put together.
Here are the pictures of Christmas:
Christmas Eve Dallas was putting Tyler to bed and they were talking about Santa and if Ty had been good. When he woke us up and we took him downstairs and we waited to see if Santa had come he saw the presents and said " Oh cool."The stocking was to pretty to fill so we put his big stocking toy IN the tree. We were pointing it out to him. It was pretty funny to see him see something new in the tree that he didn't put in the tree.

Ty really likes the super sleuths and Tiger goes right along with his big present. He loved the tiger and we had a hard time getting him back to opening presents.

A microphone so he can sing with Annie. He loved this thing in the store to. He will go get it any time Annie sings.

Ty got a cute little trampoline that has a handle so he can jump. He loves it. His face is priceless. Of course we had this in the box so that we would sort of get his attention. He has contently played with his new movies, books and jumper for hours and hours of fun.
Christmas Day we also got to have Max and Morgan and Kayden, Koy and Lexi here for a little party for Max. They brought their parents to! So we had a house full with Grandma and Grandpa Labrum. I don't think grandma and Grandpa could have been happier to have everyone together again. I thought Grandpa was gonna BURST!
That afternoon we went to Grandma and Grandpa Browns. Ty was/is sick. He has a nasty cold and cried all night Christmas eve so he was pretty done pretty fast. But we had a great time with his cousins there. He is a pretty spoiled kiddo!
This Christmas season I was especially humbled by Dallas and love him so much. He has worked very hard for us this year and we are so thankful for him and for all of the things that we have. I am also thankful for my Savior and to remember the reason for the season!
With Grandpa passing very close to Christmas and most of us being together, I can't help but remember how incredible the power of family can be. That no matter how many gifts are under the tree that we should remember Christ and our family should be the first things on our mind.
Merry Christmas!

Can we say APPOINTMENTS!
What a week! We are still recuperating from the sickies this week and man let me tell ya! I almost didn't survive yesterday or Tuesday.
Yesterday was the first day that Ty did NOT get a nap. Oh my heavens. BAD idea! But by the end of the day not only was I sad that Ty didn't get a nap I was sad Dallas didn't get a nap. I was so over this sickness that I decided to just get up and call for a doc appointment for Dallas today and I didn't even get an argument when I sent the message to him with the date and time ( and NO I didn't tell him I sent it IM!) He is sick sick and having a sick husband and having a sick kid is no fun for mom. Plus mom isn't feeling so hot so we need a DAY OFF!!
Dallas has a sinus infection, Ty still has some goobers but seems MUCH better today and I just have a nasty cough... but man... CAN IT GO AWAY!
While I was getting Dallas appointment I decided to be ambitious and stop putting off the inevitable and make all our appointments for Tyler. Not kidding it was a TASK.
First up was calling the insurance company to figure out just what exactly we have coverage on, where, when and how.
The bonus in the situation is our insurance coverage is costly but amazing. We can get every specialist we had before ( minus our eye doc) and botox. Though it took some laughing at the insurance girl to get her to get it is not cosmetic ( haha!)
They have patient advocates that would call and get us appointments but they always take first available. Sometimes that is do able and some times I am not getting up at 8 to sit in clinic B. Clinic B is a disaster as it is... so I would prefer right after lunch.
Ty has an appointment with Dr. Walker ( neurosurgery) Shriners and that is 2 appointments plus orthotics so we will be there ALLLLLLL afternoon. We will see Dr. Gooch there and then we will see Dr. Gooch in her office ( sort of) Dr. Gooch does botox and rehab stuff. We will see Dr. Peterson for eyes and I am not sure about him. I have yet to hear anything and will have to see what Dr. Nagle has to say. We see a neurologist and our Pediatrician. All of these are spanning a month!
We are getting Speech set up and will be starting around the 13th of October. It should be on Monday sometime and will be a lot of work on mine and Dallas part but we need it. So sacrifice it is.
It is nice to feel a little more settled. Now I just need a part time job that I can help with our massive cobra payments.

Snotty Noses
After our wonderful party this weekend we have all taken to loving Kleenex. Or I have taken to love Kleenex and Ty has gone the more kid friendly route of letting it run down his nose and crusty right at the edge. Its so raw and red for him. I feel bad. His throat has had to have hurt this week cause his voice is kinda soft and scratchy. We have yet to have a fever so our hope is that the cold will run its course without digging into those unhealthy lungs of his and move on past FAST!
Dallas is also participating in the booger fest but has not taken to complaining quite like me. He has sat down in his office working hard with his feet warming in his slippers and me slipping Tylenol cold down the stairs as often as I can.
Dallas has worked so hard for us the last month and has been the sole parent 3 days a week ( which ends on Friday!) And hopefully the mess of germs we have will be gone.
The winter weather is upon us and we are ill prepared I think. The weather itself seems a Little cold but it was such a welcome change from Arizona's heat. Now I get to shop for a Coat... For 3 coats actually!
SO to sum up the week, snotty noses, snow on the bench, the dying need to have a coat for the winter and prayers that I pass my class.

Lack of posting
It is spring break here in the Valley of the Sun. OK for the valley of queen creek. Queen Creek school district is out for another week. 2 weeks seems like forever.
Week one didn't go so hot. I had wonderful plans to take Ty out to a whole bunch of events and play groups. We didn't get to one. I was not feeling well at all and thought I was entertaining Aunt Flo for awhile but oh no. No visitors. just lots of tired, exhaustion and nausea.
As the week went on I became nervous Nelly about Tyler acting 'off" and that something horrible was going to happen. Come Thursday I honestly had thought I was in a total panic. After some time checking with the porcelain princess in our house I concurred that this is NOT anxiety but a bug.
Got my baby to bed and went to bed myself. only to find myself waking to head back into the potty to talk to the princess. It wouldn't stop. I took a bendryl and hoped that it would take away my nausea. A remedy from my dear old mission mom. It made me sleepy and I slept well but woke up SICK. Like tummy ache sick.
I spent the rest of the day sleeping and running to and from the bathroom. Begging that the boys don't get this. And sleeping some more. Dallas took care of Tyler, bathed him, listened to me throw up and got our child to sleep. Went grocery shopping, out to dinner and then even got to put in a little work. He is amazing.
I got up to make it to the toilet for the last ( or what i hoped would be the last) visit to the princess potty. I almost didn't make it. I was so weak. But climbing back in bed was the last I could do. I feel asleep soundly.
I woke this morning feeling pretty good. Feeling tired. So glad to have my body back.
Lots of prayers that Tyler and Dallas avoid the bug.. I don't even know what it is like to have Ty sick with the flu. SO please please please pray hard.

Our Roller coaster
The roller coaster seems to be on Coast right now. I prefer it on coast. I don't prefer the climb and I definitely don't like the violent slam to the bottom.
So the week has gone pretty OK. Here is the run down.
His little owies seem to be healing. The one on his tummy is a little sore and he doesn't like anyone to touch it. It looks red but not infected red. We will see how he does as he goes to school tomorrow.
This surgery has brought out a new Mean streak in Ty. He is VERY opinionated. He is so opinionated it is frustrating for him and mom. HE MUST have someone right there with him and usually it is mom. Though Dad does an awesome job of doing super fast so he is a preferred choice of toy.
His muscles have been more tight. Something that really bothers me so I won't be touching on it to much. I will be calling the Orthotist..aka Bret on Monday to see when we can be braced before doing Botox in a month or so.
Dallas and I are on the mend. WE seem to really be OK. I am feeling much much better and Dallas will have a few more days of the crud before he is OK. He is still working so hard for us and we have pulled together for each other.
Dallas also got a New grill. His broke and we have been saving to get one. We went in with our budget and started to look around. We found a discontinued one for 300 off the regular price. WE talked it over since it was a little above our budget and decided that it was worth it.

As for me.. I am the mom. Its what I LOVE to do. I love it. I have kept a clean house through all of this ( serious I have) it isn't perfect all day but at the end of the day it is all put away. I have no loads of laundry right now and I am happy.
Here is to a less stress full week, more appointments and more routine for Tyler . Wish us luck!
So the week has gone pretty OK. Here is the run down.
- Saturday ( we were released) and we came home. Mom ( that would be ME!!) was super sick by this point. I had gotten a lot of sleep on Friday but no sleep on Saturday and I was not feeling well. Ty was pretty down that day and was laying more than the last surgery. No fever and no oozing at the sight of entries.
- By Sunday we had a sniffling pile of mommy and Ty boogie rags all over. Ty has the runs, a small fever and can't hardly stand up. Poor kid. Mommy.. sick. Coughing a lot. Not feeling well. Daddy, Still OK.
- Monday Dallas had off and mom got a few extra minutes of sleep in. Ty started to noticeably get sicker and mom is sicker. Ty was taken to the Peds to get a baseline ( again) the ONLY time we have gone in six months might I add. He feels Ty would be best on an antibiotic. Sends us home.
- Tuesday we attempt therapy. Ty is done a good ten minutes into his second therapy. Off we go with green boogies and red eyes. And no way is he taking that antibiotic.
- Wednesday more of the same only this time mommy isn't sure she is alive. Exhaustion is getting to be a common factor here .
- Thursday... Daddy decides that he is NOT feeling well. Comes home with a sore throat. All three of us, in one week with the crud.

- Friday much of the same. Mommy feeling much better. Ty still not touching the antibiotics and daddy just feeling gross.
- Saturday rocked. Only because Dallas, for the second day in a row, got up and headed Ty out the door before I heard him and got to sleep in. No sound till 9 in the morning. Amazing. It also made for mom to start feeling better and get to take care of 2 sick boys.

Is it really only Tuesday?
This weekend was so nice. Me and Dallas went on a date on Friday and had such a good time. I thought " wow, what a great way to start the weekend and the week!" Dallas got his Christmas present on Friday night and we were looking for a cord. We walked around San Tan Mall and did a little window shopping/ clothes shopping. We had Dinner at a nice little brewery/ sports bar place. Ty was so good and loved all the Christmas lights. We got a Christmas tree and the house was clean. At the end of Saturday I really was looking forward to the week.Sunday I worked and I got home in time to put my sweet baby to sleep. I got his meds and he really fought me. That is so not normal for him. I got him to take a little bit and went in and held him for a bit and cuddle cause I didn't see him for a while. Put him in bed and about 2 hours later he was crying.
Since we put him in a toddler bed and he can get out him crying is a weird occurrence. Usually he just gets out of bed and comes in with us. But that night he cried. I went in their picked him up and he threw up. All over me. I noticed he had a fever but wasn't sure what it was.
We gave him a bath and put him back to bed. An hour or so later he screamed again. He had thrown up in bed and was all dirty. I undressed him and put him in with me and we had a pretty rough night of it. He was up every 30 minutes crying and although we had no more puking it was pretty exhausting. We had the screen saver/ tv on so that it acted as a night light and around 4 he decided he was all done sleeping and he wanted a movie. I put one in because of total desperation for some sleep. Finally at six I asked Dallas to take over for me and I got a few hours of sleep. I was so tired all day.
He was pretty good most of the day and we had no more puking episodes but he was really whiny. Because he didn't feel good I made him take a nap and he woke up CRABBY and whiny. I have no idea what his deal was.
We got in the shower and he perked up. But he was a perfect kid for his dad so I hope it is on the upswing and we are good for tomorrow.
I worked and am not feeling the top of the line either. Like I am getting a bladder infection or something and I am super dehydrated. I am tired to.
Tomorrow ( Tuesday) Tyler has his hearing test at the special ENT that does just hearing and no tonsils and stuff.
Wednesday I have to remember to call for Jury duty and Thursday is Thanksgiving. Friday is black Friday and there is ONE item on our secret blitz I want but am waiting to see if it is worth it to get up early and then spend all day at Jury duty. Not sure if I can stay awake all day!
So that is our week... in a Nutshell.
Please pray for Tyler that he feels better and it is just a bug and nothing more. It scares me to death that he doesn't come with a flashing sign when it is something bigger. I never know when to over react or stay cool... I hate shunts!

Oh no!
About 2 weeks ago Dallas got sick. He stayed home from work one day and slept. Worked from home the next day an took it kinda easy and said he felt better. About a week later I got a sore throat. I was super sick on Monday and came home early and slept on Tuesday ( Thank you Dallas, I really needed it) Felt much better on Wednesday and started getting my cold sore on Thursday. Today it is MUCH better and I have taken better care of it by washing it with warm water and soap and adding some meds and zovirax to the mix.
While at work Dallas let me know that Ty was pretty sick. Last night Ty slept HORRIBLE. It was not pleasant while awake either. He ended up sleeping with us and was not very restful. I wondered what was up.
Well he is sick and Dallas did a wonderful job of taking care of him. Hopefully tomorrow we all feel a little better and we can get better faster.
