Some Random Photos-

There is so much we want to catch up on and share with you our cute kids. There is also a few more controversial things that I want to get working on so here are the mundane journal type things that will reminds us of all the awesome stuff we did! Here are the photos- With explanations!!!
After Long days with this little dude, we sometimes go get our dinner and fixings for our dinner and even some YUMMY chocolate muffins and then spend a good portion of the hour back with the fish. Some day I will buy him a Beta. But till then, he can enjoy the dead frogs that were in the gross tanks. I guess walmart isn't in the running for an aquarium award.
Dollar store crafts are where it is at. We went and bought 10 bucks worth of stuff to do from the dollar store.  Grayson did a great job painting with the WORST paint in the world. He loved it. A good 40 minute activity that didn't cost us a fortune!
Because of our low iron problems, we keep looking for stuff Grayson will eat that have even a small amount of iron in it. However, he has a problem eating food and is really picky. But he has decided that blue is his favorite color. I managed to remember how to flavor/color  the eggs and he LOVES them so it looks like blue eggs for a few weeks.
We are no longer taking naps. So when we leave, he falls asleep as fast as he can. Usually it doesn't last long and sometimes it is SO needed that we MAKE ourselves  fall asleep. HE is SOO hard when he is tired. And this is how we find him when we get home.
I might have encouraged my child to have a crush on my appliances. The detergent smells so yummy, the machine runs like a charm and WOW. I am in love. And he is in Love too!

Grayson gets Iron when we can get it down him. We can trick him for a few tries but as soon as he swallows the tricked iron he starts vomiting and vomits the rest of the night. I hate vomit. So we spend the night on the couch with Betty our Barf Bucket and he is miserable.
Cerebral palsy is not a nice condition. It hurts. All of these showed up in one day. It was just bad. I hope and pray for a day that it will go away.
Grayson and I find the strangest things. We are sitting in the parking lot at the store watching a dump truck and a fire truck. 35 minutes we waited.
This is our stake county fair for Church. It was HUGE and crazy and the boys LOVED this little train. We will be finding one for Halloween at the pumpkin patch for sure.

My tat debut. Sometimes a mom will go to extreme measures for just a little piece and quiet.

Snotty Noses

After our wonderful party this weekend we have all taken to loving Kleenex. Or I have taken to love Kleenex and Ty has gone the more kid friendly route of letting it run down his nose and crusty right at the edge. Its so raw and red for him. I feel bad. His throat has had to have hurt this week cause his voice is kinda soft and scratchy. We have yet to have a fever so our hope is that the cold will run its course without digging into those unhealthy lungs of his and move on past FAST!

Dallas is also participating in the booger fest but has not taken to complaining quite like me. He has sat down in his office working hard with his feet warming in his slippers and me slipping Tylenol cold down the stairs as often as I can.

Dallas has worked so hard for us the last month and has been the sole parent 3 days a week ( which ends on Friday!) And hopefully the mess of germs we have will be gone.

The winter weather is upon us and we are ill prepared I think. The weather itself seems a Little cold but it was such a welcome change from Arizona's heat. Now I get to shop for a Coat... For 3 coats actually!

SO to sum up the week, snotty noses, snow on the bench, the dying need to have a coat for the winter and prayers that I pass my class.

What feels like a million years ago......

What feels like a million years ago I was a representative of the LDS church, serving a LDS mission in a wonderful but VERY Catholic part of the great state of Indiana. Being a missionary is something that shaped my life and is something that I think about daily. There is not a day that goes by that I am not reminded of someone or something from my mission.

One of the things that I loved on my mission was the copious amounts of study time. The time was spent learning all I could about the Savior, His mission and the purpose of His plan. It also gave me a chance to learn about the others around me.

Learning and seeing other religions view on Easter and how religiously devoted they are to their religion made me even more amazed at the purpose and role of the Savior.

As a missionary it was nothing to share my testimony. I did it all the time. As a member of the church I don't share it enough.

On this Easter weekend, I wanted to publicly share my testimony and share with you a clip of an apostles view of the sacred event.

I know that God lives, and that He loves us. I know that Jesus is the Christ. I know that we have a prophet that leads and guides us. I have a testimony of the power of the Priesthood. I know that having a husband that is able to give blessings has been one of the reasons that we have seen so many miracles in our lives. I know that because Jesus Christ did walk alone I don't have to. I know that he suffered so that he may know how to comfort me. I know that when I pray he is there to listen and he will answer.

The message from Elder Holland is one of the most moving I have heard in a long time. Please take the time to listen.

Bugs Tag

My High School friend ( who looks amazing after just having a baby) tagged me for this bugged tag. I was wondering if I could really just narrow it down to JUST ten.

1. I get so mad when people don't come to work when they are suppose to. I know EVERYONE calls in at some point but man come on EVERY weekend.

2. I hate when people gossip. Like really gossip. Like get in your life and totally mess it up gossip.

3. I am bugged that I still listen to grunting, and non verbal communication. I sometimes feel like others think it is my "fault" and I hate it.

4. I hate that some people can't let things go and let people "change." It does happen and if you allow them to change you might find you LIKE THEM!

5. I hate mean people. Seriously, is it that hard to be nice to others. Like don't walk into place ( like say.. a walmart) and be mean to the person checking out your groceries. Its their job and they don't make a million dollars.

6. I hate when someone asks whats wrong with Ty and they follow up by, "man I am sorry. You must be really blessed." Um. no.. he got really screwed. It isn't his fault and he didn't ask for this to happen and life will be really really HARD for him. and thanks to #'s 4,5,6 his life will kinda suck. But thanks for the sympathy... I am glad I have the blessing :)

7. I hate when people who visit my blog or others for that matter never leave comments. I mean come on most of us have site meters. We know you are here. Say Hi

8. meal time. It is such a chore to get Ty to eat. I am bugged by those people who have hugely fat children when mine wont even eat a donut.

9. Loud pets. Keep you dog quiet. I obviously don't have one for a reason

10. When you have a kid at 33 weeks and older, parents of "micro" babies don't really look at that as early. No offense but as you get older than that... especially 34 weeks.. its not a preemie. Not even close.

I tag, Jenn K, Nicky, mom, Chantel, Crystal, Jenn Tippets, Erin B, Jayley, Burkie and Tammy

Thank Michelle!

Random week with photos!

I have no idea what Grandma did to my baby but he has slept so well ( till tonight) and pretty much through the night. He has done better on the days he has had no nap and he wakes around 7 am. A huge cry from the 5 am!

Today he was so whiny by the end of the afternoon that I had him take his milk and blanket and lay with me on the floor. I was hoping it would just let him relax so he could get up and play. NOPE!! He fell asleep. As soon as he got his milk to his lips he pulled his blankie up and he was OUT!

Life is almost back to "normal." We have our last 2 therapies tomorrow ( our eye therapist and our speech therapist.) And this afternoon we have a delivery happening. Dallas and I purchased a new bed. We are so excited. I got one right before I was married from my parents but we are in need of a better one. That one has been great but we need a king sized and a pillow top. I was amazed at how expensive they were. I felt so blessed to not have to put it on credit. And I am even more excited to come home from work tomorrow and sleep in it!

Overall we have had a pretty slow week. Ty is as happy as ever. He is eating much better than he was on vacation. He is VERY opinionated lately and we have had to do JUST WHAT HE WANTS or there is no doing. He won't even eat if he hasn't chosen it to eat.

I promised a few weeks ago some photos of Ty, toilet paper and fun... so I am finally able to do it! Enjoy

This was the sweetest thing from the weekend. Lexi came up with Aunt Nicky to visit with Tyler. She wanted to help him walk so bad. She was so sweet. So she helped him walk to his walker so that he could walk. She also chased him and made him laugh so hard. She is the sweetest thing ever!

Ty was watching Tv on the Love sac at grandpa's. He thought he was a big boy! And the last one was another Horrible picture of me and a wonderful photo of Dallas.

Long time

Man I use to be GREAT at blogging. Now I Am great at NOT blogging. I have been super interested in reading about everyone else but never thought you all might like to know what is going on here.

The weather is so nice right now. Ty loves to be outside and if he had a choice would live out there ALL day. But because it is getting warm, my blue eyed, blond hair little guy needs to come in. We go to the park first thing in the morning ( sometimes Francis takes him) and he is really starting like to play with other kids. He hasn't liked it in the past so it is kind of fun to see him starting to learn to play.

Currently we are doing therapy of some sort pretty much everyday. He has the foundation one day a week, PT water therapy 3 times a week, Speech therapy and then regular PT. We have OT on a as needed basis. So life gets hectic for us. We want him to walk and do well so we are willing to sacrifice.

He is still so much fun and is so much more fun now that he is done being sick. He was nice and crabby last week and it is nice to have him back to himself.

Dallas is working so hard right now. Currently he is working on several Iphone projects and paypal has really piled on the work. He is still having knee pain and will be seeing a pain specialist for his neck issues. I think the neck issues are all because of the computer. So hopefully he can find some relief soon.

I am doing the same stuff. All day everyday. I love having Francis coming. It helps on the 2 am working mornings. The bad thing, Ty is back to napping with me it seems to be the only way we can get him to take a nap. Sure does suck for me though. :)

That is the update on us. I don't have any pictures this post because I have not been up to par since being sick.
