Bugs Tag

My High School friend ( who looks amazing after just having a baby) tagged me for this bugged tag. I was wondering if I could really just narrow it down to JUST ten.

1. I get so mad when people don't come to work when they are suppose to. I know EVERYONE calls in at some point but man come on EVERY weekend.

2. I hate when people gossip. Like really gossip. Like get in your life and totally mess it up gossip.

3. I am bugged that I still listen to grunting, and non verbal communication. I sometimes feel like others think it is my "fault" and I hate it.

4. I hate that some people can't let things go and let people "change." It does happen and if you allow them to change you might find you LIKE THEM!

5. I hate mean people. Seriously, is it that hard to be nice to others. Like don't walk into place ( like say.. a walmart) and be mean to the person checking out your groceries. Its their job and they don't make a million dollars.

6. I hate when someone asks whats wrong with Ty and they follow up by, "man I am sorry. You must be really blessed." Um. no.. he got really screwed. It isn't his fault and he didn't ask for this to happen and life will be really really HARD for him. and thanks to #'s 4,5,6 his life will kinda suck. But thanks for the sympathy... I am glad I have the blessing :)

7. I hate when people who visit my blog or others for that matter never leave comments. I mean come on most of us have site meters. We know you are here. Say Hi

8. meal time. It is such a chore to get Ty to eat. I am bugged by those people who have hugely fat children when mine wont even eat a donut.

9. Loud pets. Keep you dog quiet. I obviously don't have one for a reason

10. When you have a kid at 33 weeks and older, parents of "micro" babies don't really look at that as early. No offense but as you get older than that... especially 34 weeks.. its not a preemie. Not even close.

Amy Tagged me and so I thought I would actually do it. I have another one from April that I was tagged for that I will have to get to as well.

1. I don't "Do" crafts. Never have. Except Lately I have been trying my hand at them and not doing to bad of a job. In fact I kind of like them. I am not great at them but I have enjoyed trying out new things to see if they look ok.

2. I have fallen in Love with photography. Since getting Ty's NICU photos done by Angie and Amy I have longed for a nice camera. Since getting one I have found that it isn't the camera ( always) and that I have really enjoyed taking them. Lucky for me Ty is a cute subject. You can see it here!

3. I am a book worm. I LOVE books. I don't have just one author. I just pick one and read. Then I Read that one for a while till someone else suggests something else. I can't help it. I like books!

4. I have more patience than I EVER imagined and I am sure most can believe. I am pretty proud of how much I have with Tyler. He is a great kid and I have to sit back and remember that he is little and can't express himself so I need to love him and try and understand him.

5. I blog stalk. I love reading about others. Sometimes I wonder who is out there reading mine. Guess I will never know!

6. I love figuring out gifts for people. I like them to be thoughtful and just right for that person. Sometimes people get gift cards but mostly I try super hard to find something just for them.

7. I LOVE LOVE shrimp scampi. I think it is an unnatural love. I can't even describe my love for it. On all you can eat shrimp night at red lobster I order something else and then ONLY shrimp scampi because I don't want others to think I am weird! BUT I do share with Tyler.

Getting to me Holiday Edition ( a tag)

A ward member from my mission sent this to me. It is the holiday version of getting to know you! I thought that since most pass around the other one I would do this as a tag!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I do both. It depends on who it is. For kids totally wrapping paper. But as a disclaimer I am the worlds WORST wrapper. I paid my sister when I was younger. She even wrapped her own a few times

2. Real tree or Artificial? We had both growing up and my mom hated the real ones and I am sure that is what made me sick every single year. But I am all about artificial with a nice pine scented candle

3. When do you put up the tree? This year I wanted to do it the day after Christmas ( YES I WANTED TO) I was excited to see how Tyler would react to it.

4. When do you take the tree down?I am sure we will be taking it down a week or so after New Years.

5. Do you like eggnog? Yes actually I do. I do like it with Sprite. Dallas likes it with milk. Last year he even made his own.... yikes

6. Favorite gift received as a child? I really don't remember a favorite. I remember getting a cabbage patch preemie though and I loved it. My mom might remember a favorite.

7. Hardest person to buy for? Dallas. He is so hard. Only because he wants big electronic stuff and specifics that I can't surprise him with much.

8. Easiest person to buy for? Tyler. I could spend way to much money on him. I have so much stuff I want to give him but see no need with all the toys he has.

9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes. I want a willows ones some day.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail. I haven't sent any out in a while though. I am hoping to take photos soon and send them out.

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Uncle Kenny rocked at getting us dumb stuff. I don't know of a "stupid" or worst gift ever.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Since I don't really "have" one and I haven't' really "loved" Christmas I think I will just tell you the one I saw most of my life... the night they saved Christmas!

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? This year I started picking up things in October. I am almost done though. Now I have to plan ahead so I get things mailed out in time.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Cheese balls my mom makes, clam dip and Dallas mushrooms....Growing up we had the Christmas cookie exchange at my moms work and that was so great. They should do that again. Oh and Aunt Ruannes oreo's

16. Lights on the tree? White. We had colored growing up..


17. Favorite Christmas song?
Bishop Sharp singing the inn keeper. And Mary did you know.

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? we did both when I was younger. I remember driving home from Grandma Labrums in the car. I want to say Blazer but I don't know if it was that long ago. And we had Christmas eve with the Ware's

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? Yes but the song helps .

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? This year nothing. I can't find one I like so it is empty!

21. Open presents on Christmas Eve or morning? Growing up we were up as early as 4... THANK YOU BARRETT! We also did presents Christmas eve from Grandma and grandpa and mom and dad. With Ty I still think of his "birthday" the day we brought him home and plan to keep doing something every year, and he is going to open at least one present on Christmas eve.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Christmas was up before thanksgiving. There are so many things in between that make it a amazing time of year. Forgetting that giving is the real reason not the getting. And that it is about Christ not presents.
23. Favorite Ornament theme or color? My mom had gorgeous peach ones. I loved that tree. I have dark red and creme this year.

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Ham and turkey and mushrooms!

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? My family to be happy. A healthy year with Tyler. A prosperous year for us, family and friends. A year that we get to visit family and they come to see us more.

My most wanted gift?
That Tyler will be able to talk and walk and run.

5 things I want my kids to learn before they grow up ( a tagged game)

The way it works... Like you don't know... is list 5 things you wish your kids will learn before they grow up. At the end of the post tag at least five people. Let them know by leaving a comment on their blog. And when you do the tag let the poster know so she can go check out your post.


1. I want my kids to know that there really is a God. That He loves them and he listens even when they think that no one else is.

2. Its OK to be different. Those who are different should be included and no matter what the above applies. God still loves them.. NO MATTER WHAT!

3. Donate your organs or give bone marrow. It saves peoples lives. Because of unselfish people others are alive today.

4. Mom and dad love you regardless of what you do. We will always be there for you and we will do all we can to be supportive.

5. Miracles happen every day. No matter how small make sure you thank Heavenly Father for the little things. Little miracles are the ones that make the day brighter.
