I LOVE my family!

We had a great week. It was hard to get back into the swing of things but we hit every therapy appointment that we had this week. We even made it to PT ( which has been VERY hard to make it to) and we had all the other ones here at home.

Ever since vacation and Ty spending some time on the sideline watching Lily and Kya play he has been more interested in using his walker and "walking" to show us what he wants. He has also become way MORE opinionated. He will let us know he done, that he doesn't want certain things and that we have put in the wrong movie.

He has been way to cute for words though. Today when I got home from work he was showed me how cute he could be. He was playing ring around the Rosie's and was spinning and falling down. He is so smart when it comes to understanding what they and us are saying. To bad he can't understand SLEEP LONGER!!

Dallas and I bought a new bed this week. It was delivered on Thursday and I have been floating on a little piece of heaven and a fluffy cloud. I love it. And Dallas got a new computer. He has been work so hard I was excited to see his face when he opened it up and got it out.

Dallas attended a pain clinic and had some work done there. He seems to be feeling better and I am hoping to do it again soon! The better he feels the happier he is. I sure love him!

Anyway, that is us for the week. I sure love these boys!

I'll walk!

First some random updates. I can't find the cord so I can download the pictures but I am telling you... they are cute!!

It has rained for 2 days and raining here means MUCH cooler temps. We hit 108 the first of the week and ended with the 50's. Jackets anyone? But despite the bad weather Ty still wanted to spend his days outside. I love that kid.

Anyway, I was driving home this evening and heard a country sing on the radio and started to cry. I am NOT kidding. I thought I was turning into my mom!! ( just kidding ( kinda) Mom!! ) Its by a artist named Bucky Covington. Its called "I'll walk."
The chorus is what really got me. Obviously Ty is not a girl and is not hit on prom night but the idea is the same. ( the video is HORRIBLE and I will look for a better one.. or maybe I will make one!!)

We were 18, it was prom night
We had our first big fight
She said "pull this car over"
I did and then I told her
"I don't know what you are crying for"
I grabbed her hand and she reached for the door
She said. . ."I'll walk
Let go of my hand
Right now I'm hurt
And you don't understand
So just be quiet
And later we will talk
Just leave, don't worry
I'll walk"

It was a dark night, a black dress
Driver never saw her around the bend
I never will forget the call
Or driving to the hospital
Where they told me her legs still wouldn't move
I cried when I walked into her room
She said. . .

"I'll walk
Please come and hold my hand
Right now I hurt
And I don't understand
Let's just be quiet
And later we can talk
Please stay, don't worry
I'll walk"

I held her hand through everything
The weeks and months of therapy
And I held her hand and asked her to be my bride
She's dreamed from a little girl
To have her daddy bring her down the aisle
So from her wheelchair she looks up at him and smiles
and says. . .

"I'll walk
Please hold my hand
I know that this will hurt
I know you understand
Please, Daddy don't cry
This is already hard
Let's go, don't worry
I'll walk"

One thing I have found for certain with Tyler is that he will walk. His determination to do it is there. Yes it is hard for him and that as a parent to watch sometimes BREAKS my heart. But at the same time, he is who is he.

I love that little guy so much. And some day he will walk, Till then I will hold his hand. I watch as it hurts and sometimes I cry but all in all..

He will walk!

NO NO!!!

I have the most cutest thing living in my house! His name is Tyler. He is amazing and so smart!

Because of his love for his music he has started doing amazing funny and absolutely CUTE things. A little bubba story for all you FANS out there.

On one of the Barney's he tells the story of the 3 little pigs. It isn't exactly like the one we are use to. But the gist is the same. Anyway, when the wolf goes and tells the little pigs he will blow their house down, the pigs say NO NO! Well, after watching it with him the other day he was sitting with his dad today and when the wolf said his BIG line guess what Bubba said...... That's right NO NO!

He has not been wanting to say dad lately either.. instead he says no no mom! Laughs and goes on his merry way. Poor D but cute as heck.

Singing happy and you know it when they say your face with surely show it he touches his face and smiles. Not to mention doing ALL of the clapping, stomping and hoorays that are there.

And the best news of all!!!! I have been approved for Vacation on June 1-7. Stay tuned for updates on our trip. Yes, I know it isn't what every one had planned but it is something we need... badly!! So get your girls night out planned.
