A service Project to Help Heal

A week or so before we left for Utah I was able to perform a service for a very sweet family that I had randomly run into. There as a link from my blog to hers and I followed it.  Then I saw a bunch of random stuff for fundraisers after I found her blog.

Jennie ( the mom) was diagnosed with placenta previa AND placenta acreta. Not only was she at risk for losing her son, this was her ONLY son. She has 5 girls. She was put on hospital bed rest for a LONG time. ( I think 8 weeks)

She knew she would deliver early and she did. Her son was in the NICU. I offered to take some NICU photos. For those that know me, I am NOT the best at the NICU and was not sure what possessed me to take them. But it was so healing to me.  I realized that I can do hard things

The last one is one of my favorites because technology REALLY did improve this families ability to enjoy their little man. The dad was home with his kids and they all had some kind of bug and the IPAD was able to let them all see what was going on.

This was such a great experience for me and will probably add it to my list of things to offer. I hope you enjoy.

Oh and one a NICU mom always one. It almost felt like I was back in a time and I knew what I needed to do. I think they turned out pretty decent. You?

CBC 10 and more!

I posted a quick little "snippet" of the conference I get to attend. I am SO excited. I told Dallas I wanted to attend and he offered to buy me a ticket if I really wanted to go. I sad no, because we don't have the budget that we "use" to have.

Instead I asked and to those who ask... They receive right!

So, I would like to Thank MormonMommyblogs for offering to pay my conference ticket. I was and am so excited

So reasons that I am excited: Adult interaction, Girls night outs, 2 days of learning and learning about something that might be able to grow into something else. I think I like that.

I have always wanted my blog to reach out to someone else and give them hope.. So maybe by attending I can reach out FURTHER.

The CBC10 is going to be great. So many great speakers and classes and girls and moms and bloggers everywhere~

So.... A HUGE shout out once a again! Thank you for sending me to CBC10!

Sir Spam ALOT!!

You know that song from Sir Mix Alot. The one that talks about BUTTS.. well blogger is a BIG ONE!

For the last week( ok 4 days but it felt longer) I have been locked out of my blog and told I was spam. It came in a form of that big "opps sorry we have a bug" and then I sent the review in. Along with the review came that "sorry but we have unlocked all that we thought were spam" and I was STILL locked out.

I freaked and went and backed up my blog, ( which I would recommend to anyone) and NOW I am back!!
