Ty eats EVERYTHING!!

Ty is a super picky eater. But in defense of him, he tries EVERYTHING. WE have the same meals every week for him and sometimes I make 2 or three meals for him at a time because he won't eat what I originally made.

Lately, Dallas and I have been trying out new recipes ( yes Brown's Dallas is trying NEW things) and they have been made with onions and garlic and other spices. They have been so yummy. Well, Mr. T gets to try them to. And he likes them. Or at least tries them. He sticks em in his mouth and then "shares" with who ever is close to him.

Today at the foundation for blind kids ( we go every Monday) he went to the sensory table. He had TONS of one of one attention today and they were trying their hardest to get him to at least play in the food they had. It was mashed up apples and had strong spices in it. It was so yummy smelling but looked like something I had cleaned up before we go there. The other plate they had was mashed carrots and cinnamon. Again.. yummy smelling gross looking. Well the new volunteer was trying so hard. The three EI blind ladies decided to make them all into little "balls" so he would pick em up. Not only did he pick them up but he shoved the whole little ball in his mouth. He looked up at me and spit them out and put it on the plate. They laughed and he tried it again.

The poor kid. He smelled yummy the rest of the time that we were there and he had such a good time. This was the first week he didn't have a freak out session when I went to the parent group but he did so well. I was pretty proud of him. He did so well today. He even went into the tunnel that they have set up for them. He hates the tunnel. He is growing up and doing so well.

Someday we will post one of his masterpieces from the paint center at the foundation.
