And the results are in....

I know you are ALL dying to read what is up. You can read updates on Facebook if you don't want to wait for me to post them here.

But I won't keep you waiting. After upping my dose to double the FSH we went into our ultrasound not expecting much. It is easier to be surprised than disappointed. Right?

We started the ultra sound and she didn't say much. Then turned the screen and D said, " Is that the egg!?"

SURE WAS. In fact there were 3. One is little and probably won't grow any bigger or make it much further but the other 2 were big. One was 13 mm and needs to be 18mm to trigger ovulation. The second one was 8 mm. The third one was 6 mm.

So plan of action is to continue with the shots at 225 and go in on Thursday for another ultrasound and see if they grew big enough. If they did we do our trigger shot and do our IUI. If not, well we start again. Or we move on to a different plan for a few months.

* This does not mean that I am pregnant or that it will result in a pregnancy. IUI is not a guarantee and IUI is NOT IVF. There is still a pretty low percentage ( though we are PRAYING for it to work) that it won't work we are very hopeful.*

Follicles or no follicles

Today is kinda cross post that goes on my fertility blog. But since it is impacting us HERE too I thought WHY not share it here.

On Friday we went in for our ultrasound to see how our follicles looked for this round of IUI. WE have not gotten all the way to the IUI part in our cycle because something is broken each time. It seems the broken piece in our puzzle is ME!

We did FSH shots which are suppose to be MUCH harsher than clomid and provide them with more follicles to work with. Clomid we had one "sort of" egg and with FSH we had ZERO!

Lots of disappointment and sadness ensued and now 2 days of DOUBLE The dose for the next 2 days. So Off I went to pick up today meds and because the best Nurse I could be and shot it on in.

Tomorrow is the ultrasound to see if there is any change with it just being further in my cycle. If not, cycle 2 is a BUST!

So.. if you could all give us some prayers and some extra follicles and eggs to show up that would be CRAPtastic!
