The Big Storm

What a violent shove back into living NOT in Arizona. Last week we had a few flurries and the stuck but NOTHING like Friday and Saturday. Saturday night was a night of rain more than anything. So Sunday I knew the roads for work were going to be stinky.

Boy was I right. I didn't even get to the first main road of the city and BAM... The jeep started sliding. Not just sliding but it turned around 3 times and a van was coming down the road. There was nothing I could do.

So I called Dallas, called work, called the police and waited. Let me just tell you, I have wrecked 3 times in six months. I am not a good driver apparently because I can't keep our cars not wrecked or totalled.

Luckily, no one got a ticket because the city hadn't plowed the streets. The cop was pissed. Dallas took me to work and I was done a little early. I was to far anxiety wise to keep my head in the game so I came home.

We scraped the side walks with Ty who has been dying to go out to play. Since we are casted he is going to have to improvise so we did..

Here is our afternoon shoveling snow :

That was the bad storm day... More to come on therapy!

When I hear stories about icy roads it makes me glad I am in a place where it hasn't snowed since the 1940's. I am soooo glad I didn't drive much in Indiana during the winter. I hope you remain safe the rest of the winter. SLY!!!
