Next Victim Please.....

After the last post you probably thought that we had turned a corner. Well think again. Vacation was ... well not really a vacation.

Well there were good parts. I will have to post those later. Here is the quick recap. Only cause we could all use a little extra prayers from the five people who read this thing. ( And a prayer for the Browns (my in laws), and the Martins, (my sister in laws family) would be greatly appreciated by all.

So here is the recap.

Friday we got into Salt Lake. Spent the evening swimming. Ended up with a barfing kiddo. Just one barf, after meds. He slept horrible. I figured he would sleep on the drive to my parents. Nope.

Monday Dallas calls frantic because he broke his retainer in his mouth and had to see a dentist. No big deal. HE WAS IN CALIFORNIA. Yeah it sucked. He walked about a mile to get to a dentist.

Tuesday Evening the insurance adjuster for the other insurance called. My car is being totalled, No big deal to most but most don't owe a few Hundred thousand in medical bills. Making loan getting a really big deal. Yeah.. a few HUNDRED. My brother owes that for medical school... we owe that for a kid.

Wednesday was just stressful.

Thursday was a good day other than the nasty rain storm. By now I am missing Dallas horribly.

Friday was the zoo. Had a OK time. Major meltdown for Ty. He took a nap and was much better.

Today.... well, we have been in direct contact since Wednesday with a very sick aunt. As we got ready to leave on the plane we noticed Ty had a fever. By the time grandpa dropped us off at the airport we were having major gagging. By the time we reached the gate... PUKE central.

Yes folks we were "those" people on the plane responsible for getting others sick. Ty puked the entire flight. we ran out of towels and the plan is not equipped with towels so we dealt and used paper towels and wet wipes.

Right after we could turn our phones back on we get informed that the sick Auntie has the swine flu. Though it isn't her fault and we feel horrible she is so so so sick we now get to deal with making sure we aren't sicker.

So as of right now, we are on lock down. Ty still has the pukes. Baby Noah ( who is a transplant baby) has a fever. All of us are working on getting Tamaflu and are watching to make sure we don't get sick.

Prayers for Auntie that she gets feeling better. She is very sick. We love her and she is a great Aunt. We hope you get better.

I think we are done.

The highlights of the trip AND pictures will follow.

Oh and on the nice side. I did all the laundry when I left so I have lots of towels and we have an extra bed sheet. Dallas and I have to sleep one more day apart but I am so so so glad we have him and we are home.

Again.. we did have some GOOD points of vacation. Stay tuned for the Upper post .....

Nancy... you really can't catch a break can you? I am so sorry! How is Ty doing now? You guys have been through the ringer and then some. I hope you are making it OK. If you want some inspiration, on the Thru the Tulips blog Jessica posted a wonderful thing called 'you are strong'. It has been a good help to me.
