A time for Thanks, Giving and reflection.....

"Even though you can't see all the curves in the road ahead, be CONFIDENT that things will straighten themselves out ( with YOUR HELP) eventually. If you are doing your part you can have every expectation that God will do His." R. Dale Jeffery

I have been so blessed this last year. What a time for reflection and giving thanks to all the blessings that we have had in our Lives.

So many things have happened in the last year that I am very thankful for. I am so thankful for all the things that have happened this year. I feel so blessed. With all the curves in our road I think I have found that it just leads us to a different place and that place is what we make of it.

I am thankful for Dallas. He works so hard to provide for our family and to take care of us. He is in taking a nap right now and smile because he has been responsible for all the household responsibilities ( aka Tyler) for the last day or so and he has done an amazing job. Ty keeps us on our toes and we wouldn't have it any other way. Words, gifts and kisses can't describe how thankful I am to have this wonderful and supportive man in my life. He is dealing with a very hormonal wife and is taking it in stride. He cooks dinner most of the week and he works so hard to make me happy. ( Which can be a full time job sometimes!)

I am so thankful for the little miracle that is cruising around my house. Although I pictured things a little differently in my mind, that little curve has turned out to be the most life changing and heart wrenching and yet growing experience in my life. What a sweet boy!! He is so happy. He makes every single person that encounters his sweet spirit smile a little brighter. He will NEVER know the impact he has on my life. He is so amazing. I am so glad that I have been entrusted this sweet boy. I have so much to learn from him. And it is so good for my heart to see him walking around and learning and doing so well.

For grandparents or Parents that turned into grandparents. They have taught us while we were younger and because of their teachings we have been able to make our own choices and take care of our self. Hopefully we have shown them that they did a great job. They are so supportive and LOVE Tyler and we are glad to have them in our lives.

I am thankful for employment. I have enjoyed having a job. It has been hard sometimes but I have enjoyed the small amount of satisfaction that I have gotten from helping my family. I am so glad that I was able to get a GOOD job and one that still allowed me to be with Ty and D. Some days I am sure Dallas misses the old days but I am glad that I have a job.

For Arizona... ok.. not so much that but moving here has done us so much good. It has given us distance to some extra stress but has given us a sense of Independence and the ability to feel like we can do it on our own. It has allowed us to focus on each other and our own family. Plus, who can hate sun all the time. NOT ME!!! The sunsets here are amazing and the beauty and the feeling of being home that we feel here is not duplicated anywhere else.

Last but not least, My Father in heaven who has been the reason that we have been so blessed. I love the promise of after all WE can do he will provide the rest. I have truly felt that in the last 6 months. ( ok 2 years) But with us willing to sacrifice just a little we have been provided so much more than we could ever ask for.
