Cold Arizona?!!?! and other randomness
It is officially fall in Arizona. One day was 115 the next was like 95 and we needed jackets. Tonight when I left work it was even kinda chilly ( a whooping 65 degress RIGHT NOW!!!) . I was a little bummed that I missed Fall and then TADA!!!! Fall is here. All of a sudden the place is alive. There were people outside walking, kids in the park and comfortable temperatures all around. It was great.
Previous posts had a few comments on it that I wanted to address. While I didn't call and communicate specifically all I needed I appreciated what I did get. While I am not upset about the past I just wanted to point out that now AND the future is still a huge challenge. That there are times and days that are just plain hard. It means that during those hard times, a simple phone call or a comment or a email just letting us know you are there is much sufficient.
How can you tell it is a hard time?... Good question. When the blogs get few and far between.. then you know either we are super busy and crazy busy and we need a break which means we are struggling OR the posts get kinda nasty and blunt.
So... I appreciate the feed back and YES! Aunt Linda we do all lack in the communication part. I have noticed a huge change in the last few months. Just hope it continues to get better.
For those that asked about the Holidays... It is not going to work with my current work schedule to be gone around Thanksgiving and Christmas so we are spending it in the Valley of the sun. Grandma and Grandpa Warner are around so it won't be totally lonely but it will be just us. Guess it is time to start a new tradition. Anyone who needs an escape from the cold... we have a extra room and a nice beach in the back yard ( with no pool) and look forward to visitors if they want to come!!!
We took a drive into Tempe/ Scottsdale today. ASU campus is a happening place but we went over the canal. I am so excited to take my parents there. We saw the botanical gardens and also the sign for the Zoo. While we won't be dragging them to all the attractions in one visit we are excited to have a nice cooled off place for them to come and hang out with us.
Ty's bday went well and it was so much fun to see him open the presents on his own. He feed himself cake this year instead of diving into it. He also blew out his own candle. He had a cute cake and he was so cute. He has LOTS of Toys to play with thanks to his Aunts, and grandma's and Grandpa's. We will post some pictures later this week.
I think that was it for randomness. We see our Ped in the morning about our sleeping issues and I have to make a new appointment at my docs. I am not sure how much longer I can handle these cramps. Usually when they get this bad that I am physically ill and crying it is time to take some stuff out... It is the most miserable three and a half weeks of the month right now... I think I have a half a day where my ovary isn't going to explode... Makes me want them OUT!!

Sorry, I had to giggle at the "...it was 95 degrees and we needed a coat..." comment! I live in northern Utah and coats don't make an appearance until below 60 degrees! :)
Yikes, I hope you start feeling better soon.
I'd love to be in AZ during the cold winter months.
