Since Tyler has started walking I have wanted to find SOMETHING he was good at. something that HE could excel in and something that would make him realize that he CAN do it and he can do it well. He is REALLY good at being cute, wrapping us around his little finger and doing whatever he wants but his soccer skills and running skills are a little Shady at best.
So about a year ago we started him in swimming lessons for a few weeks. I was in a mom and tot class with him and when it became cold we thought we would hold off. He did love the classes and enjoyed being in the water.
This summer we thought we would out him back in swim classes. We looked for a few therapy places and no place panned out. So we just put him in class. He has been going for about a month. He started in a regular beginner class but he quickly didn't like being without mom. ( Another trait he is exceptionally good at!) So we changed to the mom and tot class. He LOVED it.
Since we are getting ready to leave I asked Dallas to come and watch. Ty was all about showing off for his dad. He did so good. He doesn't like to float on his back but he is moving all the time.
He even jumps in. Not kidding. He use to have to have me holding his hands but now he just goes. Its super cute. He screams because he is so excited and then he almost belly flops and now he SWIMS!!
And my personal favorite with Ty under the water. You can see him actually swimming.
