One of the scriptures that I found on my mission to be one of the most helpful was in 2 Timothy 1:7-8.
For once I can return the "big sister" favor and share one thing that I hope can help.

"Paul wrote to Timothy: God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord (2 Timothy 1:7-8). I would that every member of this Church would put those words where you might see them every morning as you begin your day. They will give you courage to speak up, they will give you the faith to try, they will strengthen your conviction of the Lord Jesus Christ." President Hinckley

My favorite scripture from my mission was (maybe Nancy remembers it because I quoted it ALL the time) Alma 7:11-13. And my personal message to go with it is "We came to earth to be like Christ. Christ came to eath to be like us". Christ wanted to know what it felt like to be us so He would know how to comfort us when we run to Him! I hope everything is ok.
