Christmas Day!

Christmas eve was picture perfect! The lights, presents everything.

The tree was gorgeous! Everything was ready!

Christmas morning came and he saw "it"! The BALL PIT! and what do you think he did?

Dove right in and wouldn't get out!

He would open presents IN the ball pit

He loved the movies!

The picture perfect turned into MORE than perfect. Happy smiles and laughter and BALLS!

He literally sat in that thing all day. He wouldn't even take a nap!

His new bed set arrived just in time for Christmas and with a new bed to sleep in what kid couldn't be happier!

The end.. to a wonderful day, a wonderful life. Everything we had hoped it would be..... AND MORE!

A recap of the day and the events with NO pictures:
  • There was no 5 am wake up. He woke up at 7 and we didn't open presents till after 9.
  • He would only open the movies and he was thrilled when he would see the corner of Barney.
  • Dallas gave me some wonderful surprises. I NEVER in a million years would have guessed my presents. I even snoped to find out!
  • As Tyler gets older the day gets better and better.
  • Dallas is the most amazing dad and father and husband that a person could ask for. He is such a sweet man and watching his face watch his son was the best gift ever.
  • Food and family and love was all I needed. I got much much more but truly the meaning of Christmas this year was love! Thank you Dallas for the love you showed.
  • OH... and 4 new words were used this weekend.
Merry Christmas!!! And may God Bless you and your familes this year.
Giving, not getting, brings to full bloom the Christmas spirit. Enemies are forgiven, friends remembered, and God obeyed. The spirit of Christmas illuminates the picture window of the soul, and we look out upon the world’s busy life and become more interested in people than things. To catch the real meaning of the “spirit of Christmas,” we need only drop the last syllable, and it becomes the “Spirit of Christ.” Pres. Thomas S. Monson

I'm so glad you had a wonderful Christmas. I have to agree with Tyler, a ball pit would be my favorite gift if someone got it for me. Have a wonderful 2009!!!!
