November kicks off a month long awareness for prematurity and prematurity awareness. This is a cause that is very important to me. There were lots of things I didn't know about preemies until I had one. I was like a lot of people who thought preemies were just little babies. I didn't know the danger they faced everyday until that fateful day of Sept. 21, 2005.
For the month of November I like to try and use my blog to educate and inform others and to share our story. A story that we feel is a success. Some would say ordinary, but we call it our Ordinary Miracle. A miracle that we see grow and learn every day!
So, put on those pink and blue ribbons! Its time to show support for the "little" people in your life!
Stay tuned for our story, trials preemies face and the up and downs of prematurity.

That is pretty cool, I am not sure if I told you, but my husband was premature and weighed 3 pounds. He was in the hospital for 2 or 3 months after he was born, so I am always interested in the things that you write about this. He is 3 days older than me, but I feel like I am older since he was premature. Hope you had a fun Halloween.
Its Prematurity Awareness Month. can you believe 3 years ago Ty made the newspaper!!!! YAY, i love talking about this stuff now that I know about it!! :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you, (gushing) for telling your story. Hopefully through stories like yours all over the country we can create a buzz and increase awareness of prematuity!
