I have luck... ReALLY long get comfy

Luck... you have got to be kidding me.

My luck is bad. Really bad. A little review:
  • One Thanksgiving when I was little ( 8 maybe) I fell through a rafter on the floor in my Grandpa's wood shop cutting my muscles in my leg. I have a dent there.
  • I totalled my new car less than a week after I got it.
  • I have been in accidents
  • My c section was totally botched and not many actually get botched like they do.. it was bad.
  • My pregnancy was kinda bad. ( the end result ROCKS and we love him but come on.. 3 months early)
  • Not only did I have the luck to need a new engine in one of my cars I needed 3.
That is a quick list. but in General it just isn't great. Dallas has pretty OK luck. Like he won a living room set. And he was lucky enough to get me ( totally kidding).

So overall we kinda even each other out. Still random bizarre things happen and when outsiders look in it can be kinda humorous. Today was one of those days.

The teeth/ dentist saga has been going on way to long. The last update was that Tyler was " to complex of a case" and the surgical center wouldn't do his teeth and we would be " better off" going to Phoenix Children's and getting his teeth done. So three weeks ago Casey ( who is my new best friend because I talk to her LITERALLY EVERY DAY, Thank you dentist who think we are to "Complex") and I got us an appointment over in Phoenix.

All was ready to go and me and Tyler left at 1:30 pm. The appointment was at 3 and it was 34 miles away. About 45 minutes. Figuring I didn't know that part of town leaving early was a good idea.

We got to that area and drove around looking for the place for about an hour. I called a few times but I was still so lost. I finally saw a place that looked right and turned on my signal light to turn and a lady was taking up to much space and I ran over the curb. She pulled out and I got in but couldn't see a sign for the dentist so I pulled out and headed to the next complex and then to the main road to turn around. As I got to a point where I could turn around I tried to pull over in the middle and it didn't feel right. I got honked at by lovely nice people and pulled into a parking lot. Got out and saw my tire.

It was flat as a pancake. ( As my dad would say flat on the bottom but fine on the top) I called the dentist office told them what happened and that I would be there in a little bit. I was going to walk

I called Dallas told him what happened and we decided he would head into the dentist office and we would go back to the car.

So the dentist update: Ty will be getting his teeth done at PCH on December 17th. The dentist was really nice and it is ONLY HIS FRONT TEETH that are yucky. Makes me feel better I didn't pass down my bad teeth and we have hope for his other teeth and for the new teeth that will come in later.

Tyler and I did walk to the appointment and I was trying really hard to not lose it. We got back to the car and guess where the jack is. In the garage... at home. Last flat tire I had I changed in the garage and apparently ( on purpose) I didn't put it back where it belonged.

Dallas has never used his jack so he didn't' know where on the car it was. We called for road side assistance and it would take an hour. Dallas found his jack and we.. no he .. started to change the tire.

It wouldn't have been so bad but we have Tyler who by now has had no nap, ridden in the car all afternoon, went to the dentist and now was changing a tire. He wouldn't play on the grass so he was helping.

Thanks to my Knight in shinning armor who came in and saved his damsel in distress we were saved from the scary BMW owners in the parking lot and from the bums a few major streets to the south.

We were in traffic for a while on the way home and stopped to get Tyler a burger for dinner since I didn't know when Dallas would be getting home. I planned on showering and then taking Tyler with me till Dallas made it but he made it before work.

Now for the funny walmart stuff.....

I got to work and KNEW the day was going to bite. The first fire I put out was a girl and her boyfriend who lost their cell phones. She was upset because no one had turned it in. She asked if she could us the PA system to announce that she lost it. I said no we only do that for lost kids and store use. She said " Could you use it to announce a Code Adam ( lost kid) because it is like my kid?" I looked at her and tried so hard not to smack her and laugh and said " um no." She kept going on about how important it was. It was like her kid. Finally they left. Well they went and found a manager who then relayed to me that we were NOT to call a code Adam and we all proceeded to make fun of the description we would relay as we looked for her " kid."

Next. Some kid was in the store wearing a hoodie and carrying a bag and had been in and out of the store a few times. We stopped him and asked for a receipt and he didn't' have one. So we took him to customer service and pulled up the computer to find his receipt. ( which we don't' usually do it isn't our responsibility) and he decided to call his mom. He told her that we had accused him of stealing and that he wanted her down there.

I was sent off to get a copy of the receipt and when I cam back the "momma" was there. She was trying to get my manager to come around the counter so she could talk to her. The mom was coming over to "get" my manager. Since I am bigger I walked in front of her and stopped her and she went back to the front of the counter. I was then pointed at (really close to my face) that I was inferior and that I was racist and that I have no business talking to her or her kids. Her finger was really close and I didn't care. ( I didn't care because I was tired and read above... I had LOTS of dumb people in the store and a kinda bad day. )

She will now be calling the manager and letting them know that we were racist ( my manager is Hispanic) and we were rude and condescending and should be in trouble.

At 11 I went home.

I am now tired. That was long. But I was super needing to vent on my blog.
I hope it doesn't sound to down and negative.

On a good note.. Ty was super cute and we love him a million.....
