Can you believe it is Friday!??? I called my little sister today to talk and forgot that she had surgery. I told her " Gee Nicky I thought you had it on Friday." and as I said the last bit I realized I was behind a day. So to you Nicky I hope you feel better soon and I am glad your surgery went well.
So last night when I got home from a VERY over eventful day at work I was thinking of all the things I have to be thankful for. All of those things are what makes up my favorite things. So here is a short list.
One of my favorite things is the smell of Tyler when he is clean. He gets lotioned up and cream on his "owies" and he just smells so good. I could smell him forever.
One of my favorite things is that he still lets me hold him and rock him. Sometimes I am secretly glad that he wakes up in the night ( not much any more) so I get a chance to sit in the dark and rock my little man. He is such a special spirit. He has taught me so much. He has helped me change so much.
Another favorite is to see his face when he sees one of us and he gets so excited. I love to hear momma/ dada come out of his mouth and his face light up is one of my favorite things in the whole world.
Another favorite is climbing in bed SUPER SUPER late and kissing Dallas and have him roll over and lightly touch my back. I KNOW he has no idea he does it but he does. He is so gentle and kind. His touch gives me butterflies. I love it.
Another favorite is to watch Dallas and Tyler play. Dallas is Tyler's jungle gym and Dallas doesn't mind. He lets Tyler walk all over the top of him. Those to make me so happy.
Another thing that makes me smile is all the things that Ty does so many funny typical 2 year old things. Like unroll the WHOLE roll of toilet paper.... He seems to LOVE to unroll it. He loves doors. Fridges and my closets. Funny kid....
